Kody Brown keeps sticking his foot in his mouth with Sister Wives fans, when it comes to his senseless comments, including a recent remark about designing the ideal family. The father of 18 has had a lot to say when it comes to his disappointment with his wives. While he is happy to blame others, followers can’t help but feel that he is the one at fault. Plural marriage doesn’t seem to be working out for Kody and his three wives, Meri, Janelle, and Robyn Brown. Former third wife Christine already left.
For years now, Kody has been dropping hints about his family, implying that he wanted it to better, and function as a united front. Other than his recent patriarchal comments, he has also stated in the series that he has “bitterness” towards his wives, because they won’t let him be the head of the household. His hope for a grand design for his clan has many people wondering if he actually has a God complex. Kody recently had a sit-down chat with his wives, where he revealed that he planned on returning the large family to patriarchy. After that comment, another fan weighed in, joking that Kody probably doesn’t even know how to spell the word. Sister Wives followers were offended that Kody was essentially claiming that he gave his wives too much freedom. Now that one was leaving, he needed to take back control.
Kody has often offended Sister Wives viewers, especially when he makes mean comments about one of his wives.
