Heidi Montag Pratt feels like she can finally share her truth now that she’s joining her old MTV co-stars on their rewatch podcast for The Hills.
The Hills star Heidi Montag Pratt is set to join her old co-stars Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, and Frankie Delgado on their podcast Was it Real? The Hills Rewatch. Heidi starred on The Hills with her castmates on the original MTV series from 2006-2010. The reality TV star ended up coming back for the reboot, The Hills: New Beginnings, in 2019, which only lasted two seasons.
Heidi is joining The Hills rewatch podcast next year. On The Hills, Heidi was known for being in a relationship/love triangle with her now-husband Spencer Pratt. While promoting her addition to the podcast, Heidi told People, “Spencer and I had the most manipulated storylines of anyone on the show. Ninety-nine percent of the situations after season 2 weren’t real.” One of her goals for coming on the podcast and rewatching The Hills is to share her perspective. She talked about not only how much their relationship was manipulated but also how hard it was to say or do anything about it when she was being paid so much money to keep letting it happen.

The Hills’ Heidi Montag Feels She Can ‘Finally Share My Truth’
Heidi and Spencer got married in 2008 and now have a son, Gunner, and she is expecting their second son this month. For Heidi and Spencer, she believes they were hit the hardest by being on The Hills, and it took the most from them. She talked to People about how she “never really got a voice. And I never got the clarification I wanted, so I’m looking forward to going back and talking about everything.” She said that she’s also a bit older now and has a different perspective on some things that have happened and that joining the podcast could give her some real closure. “I feel like I can finally share my truth,” she shared.

When she was on the original version of The Hills, the voiceovers were usually left to the lead, Lauren Conrad, and Heidi felt like, because of that, she didn’t have the opportunity to share as much of her perspective as she would have liked. The challenges that come with being on a reality TV show and people wondering what is real and if any of it is fake definitely took a toll on Heidi. She has had time to reflect, though, and it will be interesting to hear how she thinks now about everything that happened during this time in her life.
Until the podcast airs next year, Heidi is going to be preparing for the arrival of her second son, and she cannot wait to meet him. Her 5-year-old son Gunner is really excited to meet the baby as well. Heidi is joining The Hills stars Audrina, Brody, and Frankie for the second season of the podcast that comes out next year. There is a teaser episode with Heidi that will come out ahead of time this November.
